The good old days

A New Hope

Lately, I have been blogging a lot about modern technology and different life-hacks to make your everyday life smarter. I am starting to feel tired about that, and I am generally missing the good old days. Everything is now much smarter, but there are so many things to keep track of.

I could not keep up with all the gadgets I was blogging about. Every time I found a fact or a new device, it was already outdated. Bob Vance is now going in a new direction, and I hope you are ready to follow me on my new journey.

Minimalistic Lifestyle

So, it is not a new expression, but it is new to me. I have been a hoarder all my life, especially when it comes to new gadgets, new technology, and tools to my cool garage. Now I have a way to many units in my household, and I have to change my direction in life.

There is a funny definition of a minimalistic lifestyle. It is people who must live with less than 100 things. There is no way that I am going to do this in the near future, but I will let them inspire me, but I think I have too many items to count.

DIY-Projects

Instead of buying new items to my house all the time, I will start making DIY-projects. The inspiration to this actually came from, that I started to buy way too much electronics. I figured out, that I can upgrade most of it what small extra components, and I don’t need to buy all that new equipment.

Now I have started to upgrade everything in my house with do-it-yourself-projects. Here I got inspired because I was looking for new magnets for my fridge. I was looking at https://magnetpartner.com and I saw they had a blog with DIY-examples.

There were a lot of things you could upgrade in your household with magnets and electronic components instead of just buying the stuff you think you need all the time.

That is why I miss the good old days. I mean, I still love that it is so easy to use a GPS on my smartphone instead of using an old compass, but still, something was just so simple before the tech revolution.

Blogging about important matters

I hope the next time I am blogging is about, how easy the minimalistic lifestyle was to implement in my everyday life. Now I will go for a long hike without my smartphone or any of my electronics and just think about the good old days. Thank for you for reading today's post, and hopefully, there will soon be a lot more to write about.
