Eurotour 2019 takes place in Jutland, Denmark
at "Søhøjlandet"
June 7th - June 10th



Friday





Checkin at our hotel (which one, will be revealed on 3rd of December).

Eurotour registration, can take place after 15:00.

If you arrive early, there's lots of things to do.

Take a trip with "Hjejlen", one of the oldest steamdriven boats in the world, that has been sailing the lakes for more than 157 years.

Visit Labyrinthia, the World of Mazes and Labyrinths at Silkeborg.

Or experience Silkeborg Ørnereservat, which is a fascinating world of the birds-of-prey, with free-flying hawks, falcons, owls and eagles.



Saturday





We start at 09:00 after breakfast, with a drive to Norsminde havn, a small harbour, where we will make a short stop for a look at the vue, an icecream or one of their famous "fiskefrikadeller" (fish cakes).

Then we continue to Moesgård Museum, where we can walk on the roof of the building.

Our lunch this day, will be a picknic basket, that you can eat at your lesiure, either in the nearby park in Aarhus or at The Old Town, where it's alloved to bring your own food.

On to Aarhus, where we will park at the old officers grounds. There's a short walk to "ARoS", one of the largest art museums in Northern Europe, where we can all go up in the rainbow platform at the top of the building, for a group photo. Then you can either see the rest of the museum, or you can visit "Den Gamle By" - translates as The Old Town - or do both.

If neither of theese events are your cup of tea, then there's plenty of shopping possibilities in the middle of Aarhus.

At the end of the day, it's back to our hotel for drinks and a nice diner.



Sunday





At 09:00, after breakfast, we start the day, with a visit to "Ejer Baunehøj", the highest natural point in Denmark, 170.86 metres above sea level.

When we drive on, there will be a short stop at "The Uncovered Bridge", where you can see a gauge railway bridge, that was constructed in 1899 and hidden in 1925 within a dam structure but once again discovered during preparations of a plan of action favoring the aquatic environment in 2013.

Then it's of to "Vrads Station", were our lunch is waiting for us.

After lunch, we will visit "Himmelbjerget" another of the Danish mountains, for a spectacular view.

After a scenic drive, we will take a cup of coffee and a piece of cake, at "Svostrup Kro".

Before driving to our hotel for a dress-up Viking DIner, we will visit "Jysk Automobilmuseum".



Monday





After breakfast and a tearfull goodbye, there's a volountary drive to Legoland, passing Jellingstenene (The Jelling Stones), considered to be Denmarks births stones, erected around 900 AD, by among others King Harald Bluetooth, of whom our Queen Margrethe and our Crownprince, are a direct decendant from.

From Legoland, it's just the memories left of a lovely weekend, spend with beautifull people, as you make your way home.
